A photograph of the storefront and building of the business Robert B. Wing & Son, Supplies. This building is located at number 385 Boradway in Albany, New York, and a date of 1898 is given for this photograph. This is a tall and narrow building, four stories high, with two windows, each with a pair of shutters, located on each floor. Below the fourth floor windows are the words, 'Lubricating Oil", and below the third floor windows are the words, "Rope & Twine". The store font sign reads, "Robert B. Wing & Son, Supplies. Engineers, Contractors, Painters & Manufacturers". A double door is flanked by two windows on the ground floor. In the right hand window hangs a sign that says, "Wing's", with the street number 385 painted on the glass below it. In the left hand window are the words "Sole Agents in Albany for Home Rubber Co., Trenton, N.J., The Original Black Sheet". Below each window is a sign that reads, "Devoe Varnishes". The building to the right of this one houses the "Wm. Dey Ermand Co., and parked in front of this building is a horse and wagon. The wagon carried the company's name as well. The street is brick paved, and trolley tracks can be seen in the street as well.
