This is a five story building, with a wise store front located on the ground level. This store front has two sets of double doors located in the center with display windows on either side of the doors. The display windows contain a variety of canned and bottled goods. The sign above the display windows and doors reads, from left to right, "Groceries, Bakery, Meats, Fish, Fruits, Restaurant". A lamppost stands on the sidewalk just to the right of the store doors. A date is not given for this photograph. A description written on the back of the photograph indicates that this building became stores, as was the former site of Albany Female Academy.
