Albany, New York Businesses, 1922, Kenney G.R. & Co., North Pearl Street corner of Van Tromp. (Now occupied by B. Lodge and Co., 1949.)

A photograph of the G.R. Kinney & Co. shoe store, located on North Pearl Street, at the corner of Van Tromp Street. The information on the back of the photograph indicated that this location is now occupied by B. Lodge and Co., and gives a date of 1949. An automobile is seen parked in front of the store, and there are awnings on both sides of the building's storefront on the ground level. The awnings advertise the store with the words, "Kinney's Shoes, Shoes For The Whole Family". A man is seen looking at the display window, and a baby carriage is seen in the store's doorway. The display windows are filled with an assortment of shoes. Trolley tracks in the street can also be seen in the photograph. Also located on this block with Kinney's Shoes are a a shirt manufacturer (Fisher's 2nd Shirts), a butcher (Chicago Meat Market), and a jewelry store (Jennings Jeweler).
