A photograph of a building housing the R.B. Wing Company, located on Quay Street in Albany, New York. No date is given for this photograph, but the information written on the back of the photograph indicates that this picture was taken before the erection of the Delware and Hudson Building. This is a side-angled photograph, so the front of building is not directly visible. It is a four story brick building, with a pulley system and rope suspended from the top level. Painted on the front of the building are the words, "Paints, Oils, Steam Engines, Boat Supplies". A man is standing on the step outside of the ground floor; two additional, wide steps lead down to street level. There is a round, three legged container on the second step and what looks like a ship's anchor as well. The street appears to be dirt, and is muddy and churned up, with standing water in many places. A horse and wagon are located in the street. An electrical pole and wires is located in the center of the photograph, and four wooden crates are located on the ground behind the electrical pole.
