A photograph of the building owned by John Kingsbury of Albany, NY, out of which he ran his business. John Kingsbury was a manufacturer of carriages and sleighs in the mid to late 19th century. The building is located at numbers 131 - 133 Hudson Ave, above Eagle Street. It is five stories tall, with the first floor being the shopfront. There is a separate door on the far right of the first floor for vehicles to enter and exit the building. The name "John Kingsbury, Carraige and Sleigh Manufacturer" is printed on the front of the building, along with the street numbers. The year the building was erected, 1884, is located at the top of the fifth floor. A flagpole stands atop the roof of the building. In the center window of the first floor is located a large poster, ad advertisement for the Salvation Army. In the smaller, two story building to the right of John Kingsbury's story, two signs in a central window advertise "Acorn Stoves and Ranges".
